9th August 2021, we received our Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

In June, Green Africa had suspended ticket bookings due to the delay in the issuance of its AOC by the NCAA for its inaugural flights.
Green Africa receives operating certificate, to commence flights on Thursday
Green Africa Airways, a Nigerian start-up carrier, on Monday, received its air operator’s certificate (AOC) from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
The airline further announced that it would start its first official commercial flight on Thursday, August 12.

With this certificate, Green Africa would be able to commence operations in accordance with its initial route network unveiled earlier in June.
The network focuses on its Lagos base and comprises six domestic destinations, including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Akure, Ilorin, Enugu and Owerri
