Recognition For Monarch, indigenes Storm Assembly

The quest by the ‘relegated’ Olukere of Ikere Ekiti, Oba Ganiyu Obasoyin, to gain recognition for his stool got a boost on Thursday as
a section of residents of the town besieged the state house of assembly to ensure that he scaled the hurdles before the committees of the legislature.
Obasoyin, who got to the Assembly about 10.30am in company of his lawyer, Mr Morakinyo Ogele , also an indigene of the town, appeared
before House Committees on Public Petitions and Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
The committees were  chaired by Hons. Titilayo Owolabi -Akerele and Badejo Anifowose, respectively.
