Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said on Tuesday he wants to coordinate with other officials overseas and closely monitor market moves related to the situation in Greece.
Kuroda, speaking to reporters, added that he hopes Greece and EU countries can resume negotiations for a rescue package as soon as possible.
